There is a VTx BIOS menu for ZBook Studio G3. Please go to F10 Setup > Advanced > System Options. You can find Virtualization Technology (VTx) menu. ***** I work for HP. Use the up and down arrows to select Virtualization Technology (VTx), then use the left and right arrows to select either Enabled or Disabled as desired. 3/19/2018 · VT-x is certainly enabled in BIOS, however, intel processor information app shows it’s not. I also disabled Hyper-V in many different ways and restarted many times, didn’t help. So frustrating that such a high-end zbook has this kind of issue.
On a Z620 you can just hit F10 early during a reboot and you’ll get into BIOS setup. Then go over to the Security tab and down to the System Security line. Then to Virtualization Technology (VTx) and change that from Disable to Enable. That opens a new line, Intel VTd, within BIOS without having to reboot…. and on mine it was set to Disable.
